Hi, I’m Ruth, I’m a newly 40 year old mother of one. I started this blog back in 2013, to document my training for my first marathon. (Virgin London Marathon 2014) I was then lucky enough to get the chance to run London again in 2015, so started writing again. But this time I really enjoyed the blogging too, so I am now trying to develop ‘RulaRuns’

I have always been involved in sports. I played international basketball as a junior, and then continued playing national league basketball into my early 30’s.


I have always enjoyed running, but my love for it has ignited in the last few years. Being part of communities such as Run Mummy Run and UkRunChat inspires me to want to be a better runner and a healthier person. Hopefully I can share some of that with you.
