Lexie Sport Giveaway – Raising funds for MNDA

One of the reasons I wanted to run a marathon was to raise money and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. However, not all symptoms necessarily happen to everyone and it is unlikely they will all develop at the same time, or in any specific order. There is currently NO cure for MND.

I recently contacted a few companies asking if they would donate a prize to help me raise more funds. Lexiesport have been so generous and very supportive. So I am happy to say that you now have the chance to win yourself some veronica shorts.

For every person that donates on my justgiving page www.justgiving.com/dennismurphy1949 between now and Sunday 16th March, I will enter their name into the draw. When donating, you will need to put your twitter name or email address and add Lexiesport to the comment box. This way I will know how to contact you re: size and delivery if you were to win. If you are a man, still enter as any female friend, partner, wife, would love these as a present!
